Day 1 - USA/Beijing
Your journey begins as you board an
international flight bound for China.
Day 2 - Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, you are greeted by your
English speaking tour guide, and escorted to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day
relaxing in your hotel.
Day 3 - Beijing (B/L)
You will explore the historic
Tiananmen Square in the center of Beijing. Next, is a trip to the Forbidden City and the
Temple of Heaven and concludes at the Summer Palace, a luxurious royal garden that
provided royal families with rest and entertainment.
Day 4 - Beijing (B/L/SD)
After breakfast, you will be amazed
by one of the great wonders of the world, the Great Wall of China. Next is a visit to the
ancient burial site of the royal court during the Ming Dynasty, called the Ming Tombs. The
day concludes with a traditional gourmet Peking duck dinner.
Day 5 - Beijing/Xian (B/L)
You journey to the ancient capital
of eleven Chinese dynasties, continues with a short flight to Xian.
Day 6 - Xian (B/L/SD)
Today you will tour one of the
worlds most incredible sights, the burial grounds of Emperor Qin. These grounds are
guarded by thousands of detailed life-sized terra-cotta warriors. This will be
followed by visits to the Provincial Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and Ming-era City
Gate. In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional banquet and dazzling theatrical
performance at the Tang Dynasty Theater.
Day 7 - Xian/Chongqing/Yangtze River Cruise
(B/L/D)
A short morning flight takes you to
Chongqing. After an exciting local tour, you will board a Victoria Cruises ship, the
largest five star fleet on the Yangtze! Here you will relax and settle into your
comfortable outside cabins which include picture windows and private bathrooms. Onboard
activities feature lectures on Chinese history and culture, Tai Chi lessons, calligraphy
demonstrations and much more. The ship has the latest satellite communications, HBO,
and internet access.

Day 8 - Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Todays on-shore adventure is
up to you! Choose from two on-shore excursions: Shibaozhai or Wan Zhou (previously known
as Wanxian). Shibaozhai represents one of the gems of Chinese architecture along the banks
of the Yangtze River. Wan Zhou is a small mountainous city known as the gateway to East
Sichan.
Day 9 - Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Todays adventure is to sail through the Three
Gorges of the Yangtze River. First you will enter the Qutang Gorge (Qutang Xia),
whose entrance is guarded by two mountains, Chijia Shan and Baiyan Shan. Next we will pass
through the Wu Gorge (Xu Xia), best known for its twelve misty peaks. Lastly is the
Xiling Gorge (Xiling Xia), the longest and deepest of the three, with cliff walls
measuring 4,000 feet in height.
Day 10 - Yangtze River Cruise/Yichang/Shanghai (B/L)
Your morning excursion begins at
Yang Jia Wang, where you will visit the Three Gorge Dam site, the largest water
conservancy project ever undertaken in the history of the world. Next, you will fly to
Shanghai, also known as the Paris of the East".
Day 11 - Shanghai (B/L/D)
Today you will tour Shanghai's
premier sights: the traditional Yu Garden, the waterfront Bund, and the acclaimed Shanghai
Museum. Conclude the day with an evening Acrobatic Show.

12 - Shanghai/Guilin (B/L)
Our adventure continues as you fly
to Guilin, Chinas most scenic city, best known for its immortal stone mountains and
fantastic caves. Your group will enjoy an afternoon outing in the city and explore
the historic Reed Flute Cave.
Day 13 - Guilin (B/L/SD)
You will board a riverboat for a
cruise along the Li River, surrounded by delicate limestone peaks and beautiful landscape.
Conclude the day with a dinner and a traditional theatrical performance .
Day 14 - Guilin/Hong Kong (B/L)
Relax during a short flight to Hong
Kong, where you will continue to explore one of the worlds most exciting cities.
Hong Kong, also known as the Pearl of the Orient is one of the most industrial
and modern cities in China.
Day 15 - Hong Kong (B)
The morning tour starts with a
drive to Victoria Peak for a panoramic view of Hong Kong Island and its harbor followed by
a trip to the floating city of Aberdeen. Next, the breathtaking views over sandy
beaches of Repulse Bay. The tours ends with a visit to the bustling Stanley market, where
you can shop and bargain with vendors.
Day 16 - Hong Kong (B)
Today, you are free to enjoy a day
on your own to explore Hong Kong. You can explore Hong Kongs culture, shopping and
sightseeing.
Day 17 - Hong Kong/USA (B)
Bid farewell to Hong Kong as you
board your international flight back to the States.
