Day 1 - Depart USA
Your journey begins as you board an international flight bound for China.
Day 2 - Shanghai
Landing in Shanghai, once known as the "Paris of the East", you are met and
transferred to your hotel.
Day 3 - Shanghai (B/L/D)
Today you will tour Shanghai's premier sights: the
traditional Yu Garden, the waterfront Bund, and the acclaimed Shanghai Museum. Conclude
the day with an evening Acrobatic Show.
Day 4 - Shanghai/Zhouzhuang/Suzhou (B/L/SD)
Today you will enjoy a full d ay
excursion via coach to Zhouzhuang, the 900 year old Song Dynasty town that has stone
bridges and mansions. Continue by coach to Suzhou, famous for its classical
garden. In the evening, enjoy the Chinese traditional music and dance in
the Garden of the Master of Nets.
Day 5 - Suzhou/Hangzhou (B/L)
Tour the famous classical gardens
and the silk workshop of Embroidery Research Institute before traveling via train to
charming Hangzhou.
Day 6 - Hangzhou (B/L/D)
Today you will take a cruise along
the placid West Lake and visit other city highlights including, Lingyin Monastery, Pagoda
of six Harmonies and Hangzhous famous Longjing tea plantation where Chinas
most famous tea is produced.
Day 7 - Hangzhou/Guilin (B/L)
Fly to Guilin, Chinas
most scenic city that best known for its immortal stone mountains and fantastic
caves. You will have an afternoon outing to the city and the Reed Flute Cave,
which is full of stalactites and stalagmites formations.
Day 8 - Guilin (B/L/SD)
The day will be spent aboard a
riverboat cruising along the Li River, surrounded by delicate limestone peaks and a
beautiful landscape. The day will conclude with a dinner and a cultural show.
Day 9 - Guilin/Xian (B/L)
After a flight to Xian, ancient
capital of eleven Chinese dynasties, you will be transferred to your hotel for a good
night rest.
Day 10 - Xian (B/L/SD)
Today you will tour the burial
grounds of Emperor Qin Shi Huang Di, which is guarded by thousands of life-sized
terra-cotta warriors. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Provincial Museum.
To conclude the night with the dinner and stage show at the Tang Dynasty
Theater in the evening.
Day 11- Xian/ Beijing (B/L)
Continue your Xian city tour to the
landmark Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and Ming-era City Gate before
flying to Beijing, a city with an incredible mix of historic and modern landmarks and the
capital of China.
Day 12 - Beijing (B/L)
Explore the landmarks of imperial
Beijing: the famous Tiananmen Square, the imposing Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and
Summer Palace with lovely pagodas, pavilions, and courtyards.
Day 13 - Beijing (B/L/SD)
After breakfast, you will be amazed by one of the great
wonders of the world, the Great Wall of China. Next is a visit to the ancient burial
site of the royal court during the Ming Dynasty, called the Ming Tombs. The day concludes
with a traditional gourmet Peking duck dinner.
Day 14 - Beijing/USA (B)
Transfer to Beijing International
Airport and bid farewell to China as you board your international flight back to the
States.
